As the days gets shorter and the water gets colder, we're kicking off the winter bathing season at Kynd Kalvebod Brygge with a very special guest: Annika Surry, Danish ice swimmer and storyteller.
Since 2013, water has been Annika's anchor, a place where she has found strength, freedom, and stillness, and along the way, built a life and a practice around the cold that few people ever get to witness up close.
This is a rare opportunity to hear her story in person, and an ideal starting point if you've ever wanted to try winter bathing yourself. We'll meet in front of the sauna and walk down to the water together, where Annika will hold her talk. She'll share what got her started, what's kept her going, and the tips and tricks that make it easier to take the first plunge. There'll be plenty of room for your own questions too, so come with your curiosity and leave with real advice from someone who lives it every day.
We'll kick off the season together with a dip in the water. At 18:20 there'll be time to change, before the saunagus session starts at 18:30 to warm back up. Between the sauna rounds, we'll take dips in the water together, where Annika will be on hand to give her best tips and tricks along the way.
Spots are limited, so save yours today.
