These terms apply to all purchases from KYND ApS: memberships, saunagus sessions, private saunagus, events, courses, gift cards and sauna rental.

KYND operates saunas at various locations ("the Locations"). The current Locations are listed on kynd.dk.
These terms apply to consumers. Business customers (B2B, company events and sauna rental for businesses) are also covered unless otherwise agreed in writing. Where mandatory Danish law gives consumers rights, those rights always apply, and nothing in these terms limits them.
All prices on kynd.dk are in Danish kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT. On pages aimed at business customers (B2B), prices may be stated excluding VAT. In that case, this is clearly stated next to the price. Prices in offers to business customers are excluding VAT unless otherwise stated.
The agreement is entered into when you complete your order and accept these terms at checkout. You receive an order confirmation by e-mail. We reserve the right to correct obvious pricing and typing errors. If this happens, you may cancel the order and receive a full refund.
We accept MobilePay, Visa, Visa Electron and Mastercard. Single bookings, courses, events and gift cards are charged when you order. Memberships are paid as described in section 4.
For invoiced bookings (e.g. B2B or private saunagus), the invoice must be paid before the session starts. If it is not paid by the due date, we may cancel the booking after notifying you by e-mail.
Bookings for a specific date. Saunagus sessions, private saunagus, events and courses booked for a specific date and time are leisure services and are therefore exempt from the right of withdrawal (Danish Consumer Contracts Act, section 18(2)(12)). Instead, the cancellation rules in section 5 apply.
Memberships and gift cards. You have a 14-day right of withdrawal. The period runs from the day the membership is entered into, and for gift cards from the day you receive the gift card.
Withdrawal must be made by a clear statement by e-mail to hi@kynd.dk. Withdrawal cannot be made by phone or through your profile. It is enough that you send your e-mail before the 14 days have passed.
If you ask for your membership to start within the withdrawal period and then withdraw, you pay a proportionate part of the monthly fee for the period until you notified us, plus any late cancellation or no-show fees under section 4.7. The rest, including the sign-up fee, is refunded. A gift card can only be returned if it has not been used.
We refund to the original payment method no later than 14 days after receiving your notice. This is free of charge for you.
A KYND membership is a running monthly subscription with no binding period. It gives access to regular saunagus sessions at all KYND Locations according to your chosen membership.
Memberships give access to all KYND Locations. We continuously add and remove Locations, and opening hours and classes may vary by season. We therefore cannot guarantee access to a specific Location or specific opening hours.
A one-time sign-up fee of DKK 99 is charged when you sign up.
4.1 What is included. The membership covers regular saunagus sessions. Private sessions, special events, courses and Saunagus & Brunch at Marriott are not included unless otherwise stated. RHYTHM and RITUAL members get 25% off private saunagus sessions.
4.2 Start and payment. The membership starts on the day you sign up. The sign-up fee and the first month are charged at sign-up. After that, the monthly fee is charged automatically in advance every month on the same date from the payment card you have registered.
4.3 No binding period, automatic renewal. The membership renews automatically every month until you cancel it.
4.4 Cancellation by you. You can cancel your membership at any time in your profile on kynd.dk. The notice period is the current billing period plus one month. The membership remains active and payable until then, and you can continue to use it. You receive a confirmation by e-mail when you cancel. Sessions booked after the end date are cancelled automatically.
4.5 Booking and unused sessions. Members book sessions through their profile. A membership does not guarantee a place on a specific session. Sessions and friend passes are valid in the billing month they belong to. Unused sessions and friend passes do not roll over to the next month and cannot be exchanged for cash.
4.6 Friend passes: A friend pass lets you bring one guest to a regular saunagus session at no extra cost. A friend pass equals one clip and is valid for 30 days from when it is issued. Once a friend pass has been used to book a session, the booking follows the normal rules for clips: it can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before start, and the 4-hour rule for members in section 4.7 does not apply. Unused friend passes cannot be exchanged for cash. The guest must follow these terms, including section 7.
4.7 Late cancellation and no-shows. Members can cancel a booked session free of charge up to 4 hours before it starts. If you cancel later or do not show up, the session counts as used and you are charged a fee of DKK 59, which is charged to your registered payment card.
4.8 Personal membership. The membership is personal and may only be used by you, apart from friend passes. You must be able to show ID on request. Misuse, e.g. booking sessions for others, may lead to termination under section 4.11.
4.9 Price changes. We may change the membership price with at least 30 days' notice by e-mail. You can cancel before the new price takes effect. If you do not cancel, the new price applies from the stated date.
4.10 Failed payment. If a payment fails, we notify you and try again. Until the payment is completed, you cannot book new sessions. If payment is still missing after 14 days, we may terminate the membership and claim the outstanding amount, plus reminder fees in accordance with the Danish Interest Act.
4.11 Termination by KYND. We may terminate your membership with immediate effect in case of material breach, e.g. repeated violation of the rules in section 7, misuse of the membership or non-payment. We may also terminate a membership or discontinue a membership type with at least 30 days' notice. Prepaid amounts for periods after the end date are refunded.
4.12 Closures. Individual sessions may be cancelled, or a Location may close temporarily due to maintenance, holidays or operational circumstances. If you cannot use your membership for more than 7 consecutive days because all Locations are closed, you receive a proportionate reduction of the monthly fee.
You can cancel or rebook free of charge within the deadlines below. After the deadline, the booking is not refunded and cannot be moved.
Members: Sessions booked with your membership can be cancelled free of charge up to 4 hours before start. (Normal sessions) If you cancel later or do not show up, the session counts as used and you are charged a fee of DKK 59. Bookings made with a friend pass follow the normal 24-hour rule.
Cancellations by phone are not accepted. If you cancel a paid single booking in time, the amount is added to your profile as credit that can be used for a new booking within 3 years. Credit is the standard. If you would rather have your money back, you can write to hi@kynd.dk, and we will refund the amount to your original payment method. If you paid fully or partly with a gift card, that part is returned to the gift card.
Cancellation by KYND. We may cancel a session, event or course if fewer than 5 participants are registered, or if it cannot be held for operational reasons. We will notify you as early as possible. You can then choose between credit on your profile, rebooking to another session or a full refund to your original payment method. For members, a cancelled session does not count as used.
Gift cards are valid for 365 days from the date of purchase. The expiry date is stated on the gift card. Within the validity period, the gift card can be used for all products on kynd.dk, also in part.
Apart from the right of withdrawal in section 3, gift cards cannot be returned or exchanged for cash, in whole or in part. A gift card is equivalent to cash: we cannot replace a lost gift card unless it can be identified by its code.
These rules apply to all sessions, private saunagus, events and courses.
Your health. Sauna and saunagus put strain on the body. Do not participate if you are ill or have a fever. If you are pregnant or have heart disease, high or low blood pressure, epilepsy or another medical condition, talk to your doctor before participating. Leave the sauna as soon as you feel unwell, and tell the facilitator.
Age. Participants must be at least 15 years old.
Instructions. You must follow the facilitator's instructions before, during and after the session.
Alcohol and drugs. You may not consume alcohol or drugs before or during the session, and you may not arrive under the influence.
Behaviour. Behaviour that is unsafe or disturbs other guests is not accepted. A violation results in a warning. In case of repeated or serious violation, we may ask you to leave without a refund, and for members, terminate the membership under section 4.11.
Arrival. Arrive no later than 15 minutes before start. We cannot guarantee entry after the session has started. If you arrive late, you must wait to enter the sauna until the next round or break.
The rules in section 7 also apply to the course, with the instructor's instructions replacing the facilitator's. Cancellation deadlines and cancellation by KYND follow section 5. Completing the course does not entitle you to work as a facilitator at KYND.
You are responsible for your own belongings at the Locations. We are not liable for loss, theft or damage to belongings unless caused by our negligence.
Lost property can be collected during opening hours at the Location where it was found. The lost property box is emptied approximately once a week, and the contents are donated to charity. We cannot guarantee how long lost property is kept.
You participate at your own risk and are responsible for following the rules in section 7. KYND is liable under the general rules of Danish law for damage caused by our negligence.
KYND is not liable for indirect losses, such as lost income or other consequential losses, unless the loss is caused by gross negligence or intent.
KYND is not liable for failure to deliver due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure), such as natural disasters, war, pandemics, orders from public authorities, strikes or failures in suppliers' systems. In that case, you are entitled to credit or a refund for services not delivered.
If a service or product is not as agreed, contact us by e-mail at hi@kynd.dk within a reasonable time after discovering the problem. For physical products, you have a 2-year right to complain under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Goods returned to KYND ApS, Elmegade 24, 2200 Copenhagen N, cannot be sent cash on delivery.
Refunds are made to the original payment method. If this is not possible, we will contact you to agree on another solution.
If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can complain to the Danish Center for Complaint Resolution (Center for Klageløsning), Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. Complaints are submitted via www.forbrug.dk.
Data controller. KYND ApS, Elmegade 24, 2200 Copenhagen N, CVR no. 44133156, is the data controller for the personal data we process about you. You can contact us at hi@kynd.dk.
What data and why.
Recipients. We only share your data with data processors that help us deliver our services, including Ferb ApS (booking system) and Stripe (payment solution), as well as providers of our website and newsletter. We enter into data processing agreements with them. If a data processor processes data outside the EU/EEA, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or another valid transfer mechanism. We do not disclose your data to others unless required by law.
Storage. Profile and booking data are stored for as long as you have a profile with us. Accounting records are stored for 5 years under the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Newsletter consent is stored until you unsubscribe.
Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability and to object. If you have given consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Contact us at hi@kynd.dk to exercise your rights.
Cookies. Cookies on kynd.dk are managed via CookieYes, and you can change your settings at any time via the banner.
Complaints. You can complain about our processing of your personal data to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, Denmark, www.datatilsynet.dk.
Changes to these terms. We may change these terms. Changes affecting active memberships are notified by e-mail at least 30 days before they take effect, and you may cancel before then. For single bookings, the terms in force when you ordered apply.
Governing law and jurisdiction. These terms are governed by Danish law. Disputes are settled by the Danish courts, subject to your rights as a consumer to complain as described in section 11.
