Description

Date: Tuesday, November 3rd, 17:00-19:30
Location: KYND Sydhavn (Banegaarden), Otto Busses Vej 45, 2450 København

What to expect

17:00-18:00 | Grounded yoga flow
We start the evening on the mat with a yoga flow facilitated by Madeleine Brund @madddflows. As a trained yoga teacher, Madeleine will guide you through a grounded and open yoga flow. Her passion is to create present spaces and intentional yoga flows for every(body) and to inspire others to move their body and mind in ways that feel right on any given day. Yoga is not about perfection; it's about meeting yourself where you are.

The practice includes a slow, hatha-inspired flow with intentional movement, where we open up the body, including the chest, shoulders and hips.

Why open up before the sauna?

  • Deeper breathing: Helps create more physical and mental space to expand our breath, so you can breathe with more ease and stay calm in the sauna heat.
  • Less resistance: Releases physical tension, allowing your body to soften and relax on the sauna bench instead of tensing up.
  • Deeper recovery: Awakens the circulation and prepares your nervous system to fully absorb the benefits of the heat and oils without feeling too exhausted.

18:15-19:30 | Saunagus
After the yoga, we enter the sauna, where our facilitator Thomas guides you through 3 rounds of saunagus. The heat helps you relax both muscles and mind, and it increases recovery.

Rounding off
We close the evening with Relevant products, refreshments, and time to connect and settle after the yoga and sauna.

Good to know

  • For the yoga: Wear comfortable clothing so you can move freely and bring a yoga mat.
  • For the saunagus: Bring swimwear, a towel and a water bottle.
  • Price: 200kr

Who can join?
Everyone is welcome! Whether you're an experienced yogi and sauna lover or it's your very first time, we look forward to guiding you through the flow and the heat!
