Do I need my own sauna?
No, you don’t need your own sauna to take the course. Having access to one is helpful for putting what you learn into practice, but it’s not a requirement.
What's the difference between the two courses?
The Essentials course covers the foundations: sauna safety, essential oils and gus structure. It’s ideal for getting started and creating experiences for yourself, friends and family.
The Full Theory course includes everything in Essentials, plus towel techniques, music and dramaturgy, and leading a group - giving you a deeper understanding of the facilitator’s craft.
Both courses are fully online with lifetime access. Practical training is not included, so you’ll practise independently.
Can I facilitate at KYND after the online course?
No, the online course alone does not qualify you to facilitate at KYND. To be considered, you’ll need to complete our in-person facilitator course. This does not guarantee a position, but it gives you the opportunity to be considered for our team.
How long do I have access?
You’ll have lifetime access to the course, so you can learn at your own pace and revisit the videos whenever you like.
Can I upgrade from Essentials to the full course?
We don’t offer a standard upgrade option, but if you’ve purchased Essentials and decide you’d like the Full Theory course instead, email us at hi@kynd.dk and we’ll find a solution.
Do I need any previous experience?
No, both courses are suitable for beginners. We guide you through the foundations step by step, so you can get started without any previous experience.
What language is the course in?
The course is taught in English.
Does the online course include practical training?
The courses include video demonstrations you can learn from and practise independently. Hands-on training with an instructor is only included in our in-person facilitator course.
